1. How has your career grown since starting at Dispatch?
I started with Dispatch over six years ago as a part-time driver when Kansas City was our second open market. Not long after we had grown enough that I was driving full-time. A year later I was hired as a recruiter and now I handle driver training nationwide.
2. What does a typical day in your role look like?
My most common day is taking driver issues and retraining drivers on best practices. I also write content and host regular webinars for driver education and collect valuable feedback on the driver experience.
3. What is a project you have been recently involved in?
We launched a monthly Driver Experience Webinar. I have enjoyed creating content and hosting these important meetings where we share new information about driver policy and collect important feedback on the driver experience to improve our services.
4. So far, what accomplishments are you most proud of here at Dispatch?
I have taken on the role of managing driver issues. This is basically investigating problems with driver orders and working with drivers and customers to retrain our best practices and provide a positive experience for both.
5. Which Dispatch core value(s) resonates with you the most and why?
Belief- Dispatch is a place where I see belief in a common goal, passion for what we do, and amazing leadership qualities across the board.
6. What is your favorite thing about working at Dispatch?
I love the people I'm in contact with, staff and drivers, and the flexibility and creativity I get to express in completing my job.
