1. How has your career grown since starting at Dispatch?
When I joined Dispatch four years ago, I started out as a Territory Sales Manager. Since then I've had the privilege of serving in a variety of sales roles here at Dispatch from a specialist on our Connect product to an Account Manager for some of our enterprise and mid-market accounts. Today, I serve the Mid-Atlantic Region as a Regional Sales Manager.
2. What does a typical day in your role look like?
My day typically begins with a set of emails I have set up to recap yesterday's deliveries. I pride myself on taking care of my customers before they need to be taken care of and I've found the best way to do this is to know what's happening on a daily basis. My business is their business.
From there, my day continues with a variety of phone calls and meetings with prospective and current clients. Occasionally, I'll do customer visits or trade shows where I get to engage our clients face-to-face versus virtual meetings.
3. What is a project you have been recently involved in?
Recently, our team began a deep dive into how we can make our Connect product even better. I've been able to collaborate with my colleagues on both the Product and Engineering teams as well as our Marketing team to put together the best delivery management solution on the market. Working with the Engineering team and seeing their attentiveness and attention to detail has been such an awesome experience. I look forward to the future of what Dispatch is bringing to the table.
4. So far, what accomplishments are you most proud of here at Dispatch?
Happy clients. No award of any kind beats a satisfied client. Outside of the People First Award, this is the best award I've personally received in my Sales career as it models my commitment to serving my customers.
5. Which Dispatch core value(s) resonates with you the most and why?
Care. Theodore Roosevelt once said that people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. I believe and live this statement. It was the value that caught my attention from day one here at Dispatch, and it’s a value that I've seen lived out in both the best of times and the worst of times.
6. What is your favorite thing about working at Dispatch?
Ummmm they pay me! 🤣 Outside of this, the ability to work in harmony with such diversity here at Dispatch is a site to behold.
