1. How has your career grown since starting at Dispatch?
I joined Dispatch in early 2022 as an Enablement Specialist, responsible for New Hire Jumpstart Orientation, our Internship/Mentorship program, and driving additional company engagement initiatives. As my role evolved, I transitioned into a Learning Specialist, where I furthered my focus on career development and cultivating a positive company culture. Now, as a Sr. Organizational Development Partner, I continue to build upon these programs that empower employees to reach their full potential, along with developing new Leadership Development programs and strategic engagement strategies.
2. What does a typical day in your role look like?
My role at Dispatch is dynamic and always evolving, with my responsibilities varying significantly from week to week. Some weeks, I focus on facilitating Jumpstart, our orientation program for new hires, while other weeks involve developing new and exciting training programs. I also play a key role in ensuring that our quarterly reviews, surveys, and other learning initiatives are implemented effectively. I enjoy collaborating with teams across the organization. I'm passionate about fostering a positive and supportive work environment where employees can thrive.
3. What is a project you have been recently involved in?
Recently, I was asked to support the CTO in implementing Ninety.io, a new EOS tool for the organization. This included collaborating with a Ninety Data Specialist to ensure a smooth transition from our old EOS operating system. Additionally, I worked to create a learning environment to ease adoption of the new system. My involvement continues as I work with an external vendor to ensure everyone is aligned with the proper EOS methodologies & help to lead our Y'EOS to EOS Champions, ultimately driving organizational success.
4. So far, what accomplishments are you most proud of here at Dispatch?
I've effectively improved the onboarding process by creating a learning environment for our new hires and providing them with the resources they need to succeed in their new roles. Additionally, I've worked closely with our leadership team to cultivate a workplace that encourages professional growth and advancement.
5. Which Dispatch core value(s) resonates with you the most and why?
Our core values resonate strongly with me, and they were a key factor in my decision to join Dispatch. It's clear that these values are more than just words; they are actively lived out in our daily work. I particularly appreciate the emphasis on 'Care.' We not only care about the work we do but also genuinely value and respect each other as individuals. We foster a culture where everyone's unique perspectives and experiences are valued and appreciated.
6. What is your favorite thing about working at Dispatch?
One of my favorite aspects of working at Dispatch is the variety and never-ending learning opportunities. I've worked in many different organizations, but my time here has been the most rewarding. I feel empowered to take initiative and find creative solutions to help our employees succeed, while also fostering my own professional development.
