Tell us about America's Floor Source. What is it that your company does?
America’s Floor Source helps homeowners and commercial customers select and install high-quality floors in their homes and businesses in Columbus, Ohio, and the Midwest, including Cincinnati, OH, Indianapolis, IN, and Louisville, KY. We provide our customers with the utmost quality and integrity through our personal flooring advisors, showrooms stocked with almost any product imaginable, and a Mobile Floor Source to bring samples to you. We offer a wide range of flooring options at competitive prices. Add our professional installation services and you’ve got access to everything you need to ensure your new floor looks its best and meets the highest standards.
How did America's Floor Source get started, and when?
In July of 2000, Jason Goldberg opened the first America’s Floor Source showroom behind a small church in Columbus, OH, with a team of six loyal employees and a small base of home builder customers. In its first year, the company managed five million in sales, an impressive number for a brand new company.
Who does your staff consist of?
Our team of over 250 dedicated and customer-focused individuals includes roles in Design, Estimating, Field Operations, Customer Service, Warehouse, Installation, Finance, Purchasing, Marketing, Learning & Development, and Sales across four divisions: Builder, Property Management, Wholesale, and Residential.

What makes America's Floor Source unique, especially for your area?
We offer the perfect combination of price, quality, integrity, and service. Customers don’t buy solely on price. After all, without quality, a floor has no value. Without good service, you may be left with a poorly installed product or a bad experience. Feel free to compare us to any other company in the industry. Our prices are competitive, our quality is top-of-the-line, and our integrity and commitment to service are unmatched.
We don’t believe in offering ridiculously low prices to then surprising our customers with hidden fees. We are always upfront with our pricing and believe wholeheartedly in the old adage “you get what you pay for.” We won’t always be the lowest price, but we will offer high-quality flooring and exceptional customer service. For this reason, we prefer to offer our customers a fair price, every time.
What is the long-term goal for America's Floor Source?
In 2009 we set a 10-year goal to surpass $100 million in revenue by the end of 2019. We smashed that goal and have begun mapping out a new 10-year goal. As we pursue those goals, we strive to be the industry leader in the flooring market, to listen to our customers’ ever-changing needs while maintaining an absolute commitment to service that is second to none, and to have fun while enjoying what we are doing.
How did you get started at America's Floor Source?
I joined the company in April 2018 as Marketing Director. Although I brought with me 20 years of experience as an organizational leader, marketing consultant, and design expert, I was new to the flooring industry and had to get up to speed quickly. Over the last two years, we have greatly expanded our marketing efforts, increased department output, and further developed our social media engagement. As the current Vice President of Marketing, I keep a close eye on how well these efforts are boosting sales — working closely with our team to optimize results.
How did you hear about Dispatch?
Scott from your company reached out to the President of our Indiana Division to introduce us to Dispatch. We had already begun to test the waters with other providers and found Dispatch to be a strong alternative.
What was your process for sending and receiving inventory prior to Dispatch?
Before Dispatch, we were mainly depending on our own drivers to handle material delivery. Our drivers are kept very busy with regular deliveries, and utilizing Dispatch has enabled them to complete their scheduled runs with greater efficiency and timeliness.
Any special instance where Dispatch came through in a pinch or went above and beyond what you expected?
The first time we called on Dispatch we were in a situation where we needed a large palette of material delivered right away and did not have the personnel on hand to deal with it. Dispatch showed up quickly with a big enough truck and handled it for us immediately.
